Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot

The first black player in the major leagues and what he faced is the subject of this biography. Pitchers aiming for his head and people called him names. But Robinson persisted, and he became the role model and pioneer who paved the way for future Black baseball players. He lived to become a legend, and he became the first Afican American player elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
