Review
"**Features** The book reviews every clinical area and subject that radiology students experience during their course of study. The accompanying CD-ROM is a nice addition. I especially like the approach that is taken with the answer section, because it focuses on the different types of learners and provide a understanding for all. The photos are overall of good quality. The CD-ROM is very nice and students will benefit by getting accustomed to what taking the examination is like."

FROM THE CRITICS
Doody Review Services
Reviewer: Rochell O. Harmon, BS (Froedtert Lutheran Hospital)Description: This is a comprehensive review book for entry level radiography students or diagnostic technologists who are re-entering the field. The previous edition was published in 2000.Purpose: The purpose is to help guide and give direction to students taking the registry test, enabling them to do their best on their certification examination. This is done first by relieving any fears that the student may have, identifying weak areas, and overall building up the student's confidence level. This book is a must for every radiology student and anyone who is re-entering the field. The author meets the objectives and needs for the radiology student.Audience: This book is written for students who have completed a two or four year radiologic program. It also would be excellent for those re-entering the field and preparing for the test. The author is credible, with hands-on experience in the field and currently a program director. This allows her to be aware of all the challenges facing radiology students.Features: The book reviews every clinical area and subject that radiology students experience during their course of study. The accompanying CD-ROM is a nice addition. I especially like the approach that is taken with the answer section, because it focuses on the different types of learners and provide a understanding for all. The photos are overall of good quality. The shortcomings include a lack of coverage of CR and PACS.Assessment: This edition is very similar to the fourth edition and I question whether students would need to buy a copy ifthey could use the previous edition. The CD-ROM is very nice and students will benefit by getting accustomed to what taking the examination is like.
