About the Author
Jakob Nielsen is a distinguished engineer in the human factors engineering department of SunSoft (a Sun Microsystems business) in Mountain View, California. He was previously with Bellcore (Bell Communications Research). He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science/User Interface Design from the Technical University of Denmark. He also serves on the boards of Behavior & Information Technology, Hypermedia, Interacting with Computers, interactions, the International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction, and the International Journal of Human-Computer Systems.
