FROM THE PUBLISHER

One would think a nice, quiet Maine town would give Sarah Deane, nosy-but-nice English teacher, and Dr. Alex McKenzie a chance to settle in and enjoy their new marriage. But when local good Samaritan Dolly Beaugard washes ashore simultaneously with two local thugs, Marsden and Junior Gattling, the Proffit Point community is stunned. Although all of the evidence points to suicide, Alice Beaugard, Dolly's older sister, is not convinced. She turns to her childhood friend, Sarah, and Sarah's husband, Alex, to find out how Dolly really died. As dangerous accidents begin to mount up, Sarah and Alex must race to find the killer before they become the next victims.
