About the Author
Carlene Thompson was born in West Virginia and has an academic background in English. She lives in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, where she teaches part-time for Marshall University. The author of eight books, she spends her free time caring for her many dogs and cats, including a black, golden-eyed feline named Rhiannon.
