The title follows the path that the movie took through Hollywood politics, bankruptcy filings, litigation, and finally production. It highlights the development of new computer technologies that made the filming possible, techniques that had yet to be developed when shooting began. The book is chock-full of glossy photos of sets, concept designs, storyboards, and movie stills. The captions of the pictures are loaded with information, making this book a natural for reluctant readers.
