About the Author
Stephen Priest is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh and a visiting scholar of Wolfson College, Oxford. He is the author of The British Empiricists, Theories of the Mind (1991), Merleau-Ponty (Routledge 1998) and The Subject in Question (Routledge 2000) and also editor of Hegel's Critique of Kant .
