The continuation of the popular The Lipstick Chronicles (2003) returns to Allheart.com, a profitable online greeting card company where five smart, successful women are pursuing their careers. This installment focuses on three of them: Elyssa, Dana, and Carole. All are career oriented and find it very difficult to let themselves be truly open to a relationship for fear of having to give up what's important to them. Elyssa, the CEO, is trying to keep her personal relationship with one of her investors separate from their working relationship. Dana, who insists on things remaining superficial, finds herself drawn to a meditation guru in Sedona. The strongest tale involves Carole, Allheart's saleswoman, who is involved with a dedicated young senator. He wants commitment, but every time it looks like he is going to propose, she changes the subject. Then when they plan a getaway weekend in Quebec and he is detained, Carole meets a very suave and debonair gentleman.
