Author Biography: MARYROSE McGOWAN, AIA, teaches in the Department of Interior Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island, and was previously a consultant to the American Institute of Architects MASTERSPEC Interiors Construction Library for more than 12 years. She is the author of Specifying Interiors: A Guide to Construction and FF&E for Commercial Interiors Projects (Wiley), as well as numerous articles published in Architectural Record, The Construction Specifier, and other industry periodicals. KELSEY KRUSE, AIA, an associate at George Vaeth Associates, Inc., in Columbia, Maryland, is one of the first generation of architects to raise CAD drawing to a level of fine craftsmanship.
