About the Author
Kären M. Hess holds a Ph.D. in English and in instructional design from the University of Minnesota and a Ph.D. in criminal justice from Pacific University Dr. Hess has also co-authored the following Wadsworth texts: CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION, INTRODUCTION TO LAW ENFORCEMENT AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE, INTRODUCTION TO PRIVATE SECURITY, JUVENILE JUSTICE, MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION IN LAW ENFORCEMENT, COMMUNITY POLICING: PARTNERSHIPS FOR PROBLEM-SOLVING, POLICE OPERATIONS, AND SEEKING EMPLOYMENT IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE AND RELATED FIELDS.
