SYNOPSIS

Intending his work as a supplemental text in civil procedure and related courses, Hunter (Brooklyn Law School) presents a documentary history of the Jones v. Clinton case that arguably led to Clinton's impeachment. The edited and annotated documents follows the case as it winds from the initial complaint, through motions testing the complaint, pre-answer motions, the answer to the complaint, amendments, discovery, joinder and intervention, summary judgment, settlement and default, and appeal.
