Book Description In 1975, a covert Government experiment to boost intelligence is underway utilizing Air Force personnel as unwitting guinea pigs. When unforseen side-effects cause the project to be abandoned, a massive cover-up begins. Twenty-five years later, former Airman and now LAPD detective, Dave Jeffries, begins an investigation into the disappearance of a body from the county morgue. The case turns out to be anything but routine. Jeffries soon finds himself and his family drawn further and further into a web of Governmental secrecy and lies that hide a terible secret from his past. A deadly game of cat and mouse ensues as Jeffries struggles to uncover the dark truth before it's too late.
