From Lexington to Desert Storm and beyond: War and Politics in the American Experience

SYNOPSIS

This revision of Snow and Drew's unique and highly successful survey text is far more than a tactical history of America's various military involvements. For each American war the book covers political goals and outcomes, political and military strategies and techniques, technological influences, and combat operations. For this revision, the authors have added a new final chapter that deals with American military experience since Desert Storm, emphasizing Somalia, Kosovo, Bosnia, and Haiti.
