About the Author
Dorothy June Sciarra Ed.D is Professor Emeritus at the University of Cincinnati. She is also a professional consultant and is a licensed psychologist. Ms. Sciarra serves as a board member for the UC Child Care Center. She is also a member of the National Association of the Education of Young Children, as well as a member of the National Association of Early Childhood Educators. She was granted the Teacher of Teachers award by the Ohio Association for the Education of Young Children.
