Color photographs and illustrations are very good, explaining in detail all aspects of the game. Photos of children in various action poses visually help readers how the game of badminton should be played. For example, one illustration shows a young girl executing a forehand serve in a step-by-step format with accompanying text. Another illustration explains fancy footwork such as side and shuffle steps. Other color photographs show two players called partners playing doubles.
