FROM THE CRITICS
KLIATT
As one might expect of a book appearing this quickly, it is very superficial. An alternative title might be "Joe Lieberman Lite." It briefly looks at Lieberman's early years, his election to various offices, before diving into the impeachment issue. The latter consists mainly of his 1998 speech to the Senate. The main text is barely 150 pages and followed by quotes from other politicians, columnists and "quotable" individuals. Lieberman's abbreviated voting record in the Senate is listed next. By the time this KLIATT issue is out, the election results will soon be in, and the choice of this purchase will be clearer.
