Paola Antonelli, the Museum of Modern Art's curator for design and architecture, wrote the books' introductions. They take an anthropological viewpoint and, she said, "Nothing could be more interesting." Interesting, but not stuffy: Legos are called one of Scandinavia's most important contributions.
