Test models, test administration, and test analysis were the three themes measurement professionals addressed at a September 1998 colloquium in Philadelphia. The 15 papers published here integrate the formal papers delivered and the comments made on them. An introductory chapter considers a psychometric infrastructure for computerized adaptive tests.
