Ellen Gilchrist is the author of nineteen books, including THE ANNUNCIATION and VICTORY OVER JAPAN, winner of the National Book Award. Born and raised in Vicksburg, Mississippi, she lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
