   Book Review

From School Library Journal
K-Gr 4-They're back! Those rhinos who surf and snowboard have taken to skateboarding in a highly stylized megalopolis. Brightly decorated skateboards fly through the air as the animals jump, split, biff, rip, bail, and toss, demonstrating an entirely new vocabulary that is further defined in the glossary, cleverly labeled as "Wheel Chatter." Every inch of page is filled with action shown from many different perspectives with daring, cubist creatures skating and bonding as accomplished skateboarders who scorn yahoos. This will be great as a read-aloud and is recommended for reluctant readers. Everyone will join the fun.-Marlene Gawron, Orange County Library, Orlando, FL Copyright 1999 Cahners Business Information, Inc.
