Theatre on Paper is a selection of 91 designs by 73 artists spanning three centuries from the collection of the Theatre Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum. From Parigi in 1608 to Yolanda Sonnabend in 1987, the artists include Clarkson Stanfield, Pablo Picasso, Edward Gordon Craig, Leon Bakst, Paul Nash, Giorgio de Chirico, Erte, Barbara Hepworth and other famous and not so famous names but all brilliant exponents of design for the theatre.
