The entire 64-year history of Roseville Pottery Company was one long experiment. The result is a grand chase for collectors of the colorful art pottery. More than 135 styles, from Apple Blossom to Zephyr Lily, and many glazes mean an almost infinite variety of pieces are out there, waiting to be discovered and added to a collection. Founded in Roseville, Ohio, in 1890, the company later moved to Zanesville, known as "Clay City" because of its abundance of raw materials for pottery.
