About the Author
Having played professional hockey in Europe, college hockey in the United States, and junior hockey in Canada, Brian Daccord truly brings a global perspective to the position of goaltender. A former player and coach at Merrimack College (NCAA Division I, Hockey East), Daccord holds a masters degree in sports science and is certified by USA Hockey as a master-level coach. At present, he is the head hockey coach and general manager of the Valley Junior Warriors in the Eastern Junior Hockey League and teaches goaltenders of all ages at camps and clinics throughout the year. Daccord, a native of Montreal, lives in North Andover, Massachusetts, with his wife, Daniela, and son, Joël.
