Most of the value changes made in Volume 3 are upward, and many are unusually strong. All totaled, more than 14,000 value changes were made. The stamps of the British and Italian areas lead the way with almost 3,000 value changes. A significant number of changes can also be found in Iran, India, Ireland, Grenada and the German States.
