About the Author
Author Barbara Whitaker has been traveling with her dogs for more than twenty years. Most recently, she and her husband Linn have been joined by companion and "cover-dog" Ginger, who posed for the whimsical artwork on the cover and within the pages of this new book. Ms. Whitaker shares a wealth of the solutions to dog travel dilemmas that she has collected on her own travels and in her extensive research into the works of prominent dog trainers, veterinarians and other experts on dog care and behavior. Before launching the Have Dog Will Travel book series, Ms. Whitaker specialized in technical support for computer users and the writing of software user guides.
