About the Author Sherry Baldwin has had a love for children and reading as far back as early childhood. As a child in Northeast Connecticut, she loved books, and spent her playtime daydreaming of becoming a teacher. She attended George Mason University in Northern Virginia where she earned a BSED in education. Sherry then earned a Master of Education degree from the University of Virginia. She later spent several years teaching elementary school, where she enjoyed helping children bring their stories to fruition throught the writing process. She is now home raising three boys, and teaching them the love of reading. Sherry hopes that Beecher Bear will inspire your children to be creative in play!
