Book Description
Evan lived a rather uneventful life, until the day a monster flew into his village and stole his sister. On that day, Evan's life changed forever. With his father near death, he is faced with the fact that he must go and rescue Mya. The last thing his father tells him is to seek counsel from Goyae, an elder of their village. Goyae gives Evan four pieces of magic. Then he tells Evan that he must right all wrongs done by the evil Drenmore to be able to cross back over the Lake of Death and return home. He is forced to overcome many obstacles. He makes new friends, like the Pawquas, a village of people no larger than a corncob. Each new friend and each obstacle brings him closer to rescuing his sister and ending the evil caused by Drenmore.
