Quick and Easy Apple Crisp 4-6 apples (about 6 cups) 1 yellow cake mix 1/2 cup quick oats 2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Peel, core, and slice apples. Spread over the bottom of a greased 8 x 8-inch pan. Mix cake mix, oats, sugar and cinnamon together in large bowl. Pour melted butter over the top. Mix with fork until crumbly. Bake 35-40 minutes, until apples are tender and top is golden brown. Chewy Lemon Bars 1 lemon cake mix 1 egg 1/2 cup butter, melted 3 3/4 cups powdered sugar 2 eggs, beaten 8 ounces cream cheese, softened 1 teaspoon vanilla Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together cake mix, egg and butter. Spread into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. In a separate bowl, mix together powedered sugar, beaten eggs, softened cream cheese, and vanilla until smooth. Spread mixture over bottom layer. Bake 30-40 minutes, until top layer turns a light golden brown.
