Book Description

About the Author
Dr. Julian Bailes is an award-winning professor and neurosurgeon who has consulted with the NFL Player’s Association on the lasting effects of head injuries. He was the first to link the use of ephedrine compounds with heatstroke, a phenomenon that has resulted in the deaths of college and professional athletes in recent years. He lives in Morgantown, W.V. John McCloskey is a sports editor with the Houston Chronicle whose award-winning series for the Shreveport Times formed the basis for this book. He lives in Houston.
