   Book Review

From Library Journal
Haege, host of radio's "Ask the Handyman" show in Detroit, has compiled a useful book of 113 tips for the do-it-yourselfer. The entire book is comprised of short one or two page sections dealing with the many common problems facing the homeowner (e.g., noisy water pipes, cracked plaster, and damaged furniture finishes). Haege gives instructions for cleaning almost every part of the house and includes formulas for mixing basic cleaning solutions. Specific brand names are frequently mentioned but, in most cases, several alternatives are listed. A spiral binding keeps the book from closing in the middle of an important repair. This book will prove useful and is recommended for most public libraries.- Jonathan Hershey, Akron-Summit Cty. P.L., OhioCopyright 1992 Reed Business Information, Inc.
