Bridgewater State College
Bridgewater State College has been offering the EasyScript since the fall of 1990. We found that people of almost all walks of life were among of participants. In the beginning, we were a bit skeptical that in such a short period of time a speedwriting method could be learned. From the course evaluations and comments from the participants including our faculty staff, the course does achieve the stated objectives. Participants were able to learn a complete speedwriting method and attain a writing speed up to 40 wpm. Also, participants who had learned Gregg Shorthand or conventional speedwriting prior to taking the EasyScript course commented that by a wide margin the EasyScript method was much easier to learn, retain and apply. In addition, a number of participants have recommended EasyScript program to their employers and they in turn have conducted the EasyScript program for employee training. We recommend the EasyScript program without reservation and will continue to offer it in our curriculum.
John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company
John Hancock recently purchased a license from Legend Co. to offer training to our employees to assist them in converting verbal information into written form at meetings, on the phone and in classes more effectively. As we expected, our experience has proven that the EasyScript/ComputerScript method is effective and efficient. By end of the program students were able to take dictation up to 40 wpm and can immediately use it in performing their jobs. In addition, people who have shorthand skills prior this training have reported that EasyScript can be integrated with their existing system. The number of employees signed for this program has considerably exceeded our expectations. Although this training was originally targeted for secretaries associates with a wide variety of job titles have registered for classes and in the future, we would like to offer it to all management. The feedback from those who have completed the program is extremely good. EasyScript has helped them to improve their fast note-taking skills. We're now reviewing ComputerScript software to determine whether to implement automatic transcription and computer aided note taking for those who use laptops. We recommend without reservation EasyScript Program to any company or individual wanting to record verbal information more effectively. The Legend Company has provided training and support provided in a highly professional manner helping us to implement this program at John Hancock.

We are writing to you to tell how much we enjoyed the EasyScript speedwriting class. We found the concept of EasyScript easy to learn and were pleased that after one short two-hour session we could use EasyScript... those of us that learned Gregg Shorthand or conventional speedwrting, with all of its frustrations, found EasyScript to be a "Great Plus". With EasyScript, anyone that writes knows the "forms", so it's just a matter of learning the concept.

Are you able to take fast notes or dictation and keep up with the speaker on the phone, at meetings and in school? Are your notes readable? Are you a teacher? Can your students take fast and legible lecture notes? Have they had trouble learning traditional shorthand and speedwriting? If you're a manager would you like your employees to record accurately verbal information on the phone and at meetings? All shorthand, speedwriting and note-taking methods are based on memorizing random alphabetical (Forkner Shorthand, Speedwriting by J. Pullis, ABC Shorthand, Instant Speed Writing, Productivity Plus) and non-alphabetical (Gregg Shorthand, Pitman Rapid Writing) abbreviations which require months of studying and/or daily usage of the symbols memorized. Even if you use them daily, it's unlikely that you will utilize all the symbols in the system. Those that are not used daily cannot be remembered when needed, so such systems become unusable. Some of these systems are even described as having a very short learning time (Instant Speed Writing). But all of them provide abbreviations limited to CERTAIN number of words only and you have to create your own abbreviations for the remaining words. In fact, majority of EasyScript/ComputerScript (ES/CS) users have reported that they had unsuccessfully tried to master one of the shorthand methods listed above and found that ES/CS is by a wide margin easier to learn and use. ES/CS is an unique speed writing, typing and transcription method. You can learn ES/CS quickly and attain up to a speed of 50wpm in a matter of hours. There are no random abbreviations and, therefore, ES/CS can be universally used in any FIELD and PROFESSION. Your notes are READABLE because the method is logical and makes sense. With every ES/CS program you learn the complete method to abbreviate ANY word. No confusion how many books to buy. It's proven since 1990 by major companies, schools and individuals of almost all walks of life. Even children as young as 10 years old. Half-day seminars for public, corporations and schools were held in 50 U.S. cities with attendance up to 170 people a site and 99% of the attendees recommended it to others. ES/CS method is proven to help customer service and sales personnel to accurately record information during conversations with customers and avoid problems resulting miscommunications. In legal, medical and emergency rescue fields using ES/CS will improve the accuracy of recorded information and may affect or save a human life. Also, ES/CS can help adults and children with physical and cognitive disabilities to master writing and typing. At the user's option the method can be used with a computer. CS software allows entering of an abbreviated text and provides automatic transcription. ES and CS use identical rules. CS software requires under 1MB of memory and runs on MS-DOS, WINDOWS, WINDOWS NT platforms and stores files in ASCII format.

All shorthand, speedwriting and note-taking methods (except EasyScript/ComputerScript) are based on memorizing random alphabetical (Forkner Shorthand, Speedwriting by J.
