About the Author
Louis-Antoine Prat is a writer and an art historian who was awarded the Prix Mont Blanc for Culture in 2000. He is a project leader for the graphic arts department of the Louvre and a vice president of the Friends of the Louvre. He is a coauthor of the catalogues raisonnés of the drawings of Poussin, Watteau, and David and has curated for the Nicolas Poussin retrospective at the Grand Palais and the L'Empire du Temps exhibition at the Louvre.
