THIS SUBSTANTIAL INNER-MELBOURNE apartment, which has been consolidated from two separate apartments, represents a certain leap of faith for both client and designer. Ljiljana Gazevic from SJB Interiors was briefed to create a simple, minimal space for a family that enjoys entertaining. She was also aware that the family was moving from a large period home in Toorak, and that the sleek new apartment required warmth and humanity.
